FAQ
Where are you located?
We are located at 1025 Lake Road in Carlyle, IL. We are right across from the city park, in between the park and the Carlyle Healthcare Center.
What time is service?
We have two service times on Sunday morning. One is at 9:00 am and one is at 10:30 am. Currently, the 10:30 am service is a mask required service. Both services are identical.
What is service like?
Both of our worship services last about an hour in length. It includes a time of singing, prayer, a relevant Bible message, and communion. We have blended worship, meaning that we love the Christian contemporary worship songs as well as the time-honored hymns and choruses.
Is there something for my kids?
We offer Kids programming for infants to 4th grade. Currently it is offered only at the 10:30 am service, but we are hoping to extend that to both services in the future.
We also have a “Family Room.” This is a place where nursing mothers can go and nurse their baby in a private setting. The service will be playing on a TV in that room, so you won't miss anything!

What do I wear?
You are invited to come just as you are! We tend to be pretty casual, but you will see folks wearing everything from shorts and flip flops to a suit. You will fit in no matter what.
What type of church are you?
We are an independent Christian Church. We have no formal denominational affiliation. The heritage of our church is in the Restoration Movement, and it is best expressed by phrases like these:
- Where the Bible speaks, we speak.
- Where the Bible is silent, we are silent.
- In essentials, unity; in opinions, liberty; and in all things, love.
- We are not the only Christians, but we are Christians only.
